It’s not your camera nor technical skills that make good photos. It’s your mindset.
Anna Lisa Lohmann is a German TV journalist who discovered her deep passion for street photography whilst living in London. „It’s all the London rain’s fault. It forced me to seek shelter in a book shop where I randomly grabbed two compilations from the shelves: „Street Photography Now“ by Howarth/McLaren and „100 Great Street Photographs“ by David Gibson. Flickering through the books it hit me like a bus: That’s exactly what I want to do!“ She bought a camera and has never left house without it ever since. Images of hers have been awarded and exhibited around the globe.
Anna is internationally known for her vivid shots full of colour and stories, often with a humorous element. „I love life. And I think of street photography not so much as a genre but rather an attitude towards life.“
Anna will talk about the power of a positive mindset and how it can help you create unique street shots. “The right attitude can prevent awkward confrontations and sometimes even turn sh*t into gold”, she says. Hear about High Alert Meditation, Anna’s Wing(wo)man Theory and the role of luck. You want to stop worrying and start shooting? This lecture is for you.
