“I will show how important composition in street photography is for me.”

Francesca started shooting and developing photos while studying architecture in Naples, Italy. After graduating, she took a 3-month photography course, and soon after she moved to NYC, with the desire of becoming a professional photographer. Once there, she ended up working as an architect, taking pictures in her free time. Back in Naples, in 2017 she got passionate about Street Photography, and since 2019 her work has been exhibited worldwide.

She is a member of the international street photography collective Through the Lands and one of the 100 “Women Street Photographers” showcased in the book edited by Prestel Publishing. In 2023 she is invited by Eyeshot Magazine to run a series of photowalks and photo-experiences in Naples and in the same year she starts collaborating with Fujifilm Italia. In March 2024 her name appears among 5 Masters of Street Photography on the online magazine Fotocult.it.

The title of the lecture is “Fill the frame”. “Going through my latest work, I will show how important composition in street photography is for me. Thanks to my architectural background, and my love for cinema and art, I have always been very attentive on the use of colors, light and geometry. Combining these three elements together alongside the right use of layers, I always look for the perfect frame”.
