Mikaela Friberg is an internationally recognized street photographer whose work explores everyday urban life.
She travels frequently, photographing in cities as she moves through airports, streets, and public spaces — drawn to moments where the ordinary becomes unexpectedly compelling, or where subtle drama enters the everyday.
With an observant eye, she notices small human interactions that might otherwise pass unseen. Her images are never staged, but simply reflect fragments of everyday street life as they appear.
Her work has been exhibited internationally and featured in photography salons around the world.
At this year’s festival, she presents The Street Observed — a selection of images that invites viewers to pause and notice the subtle details, rhythms, and quiet tensions of everyday moments.
