I am Eva Boije af Gennäs, born in 1957 in Gothenburg.
Photographer, mother, grandmother, hairdresser, human, choir singer, scout.
People are my driving force, meetings, conversations, getting to know each other, and since 5 years ago also capturing them in pictures.
Discovering everything that was happening around me with my mobile, I explored the city and the people. Through contact with groups on Instagram and FaceBook, it then became a camera, photo walks and trips around Scandinavia and Europe.
Paris, London, Madrid, Lisbon, Belfast, Budapest, Porto were environments that exploded with life for someone with a camera. Today I have my Fujifilm XT5 and 16-80mm as my best friend. Together we “see” everything that happens, the life that goes on around the clock in the city and that gives me energy.
You will find joy, humor and the slightly clever in my pictures. Preferably color but black and white is also exciting.
I call my talk StreetLife inspired by the song with Randy Crawford because for me music and images are in symbiosis. When I see the picture I hear the music so there will be some music too!
